The most addictive substance is not nicotine. That is number two. The most addictive substance is SUGAR. It is the most poisonous t[o] (that) it damages the cells. Worst, cancer feeds on sugar.
To many, it is just sugar. Just like to the hardcore smokers, "It is just cigarettes." Well, I am not going to join the Lemmings. I had experienced firsthand how damaging cigarettes and Sugar is.
This is the year I say no to both. That means I officially am smoke-free when I am 60 years old. That is after I cut off BJ and RR. Imagine how serious it is. I initially quit in 2019 but I finally put the brake in 2023.
I better repent. This is outright evil. As for the Crackers with Honey and Raisins, I'll have it once a week. That is if I am not addicted to it.
All my life since I started smoking, my judgment was affected by contaminants. These contaminants then influence the fluctuation of dopamine in my brain. So it ended with me making decisions either when I was in mania or depression.
I intend to be as clean and as clear-headed as possible in charting my way forward.
The difference between a Vision and Fantasy is the realistic expectations. I say running the 21 km Bukit Kiara Hill Run is a Vision. It's like climbing Everest. It is achievable with proper planning.
As planned, let's tackle 3N2Y this Ramadan. Once we built that momentum, we can start the running plan in Syawal.
Remember; I need to QUIT cigarettes, 3-in-1 coffee, and nasi lemak. That is the main objective. Then slowly I nudge towards AHAD and OMAD. No doubt, I must persist.
