I am prediabetic.  So I better cut down on sugar.  

What can I do differently?

First priority is to sleep early.
Second is to exercise AHAD
Third is to OMAD

Start again tomorrow.

No matter what, never to lose sight of the 60 kg target.

Nothing else matters more than that.
