They had infiltrated the lower ranks and managed to burrow deep inside the enemy's camp waiting for the ripening process.
In the end, the operative word is kill or be killed. The seed had been sown. Time to RIP CHORD. Bear in [w]ind (mind), it is all maya. It can be a White Horse or a Black Horse, doesn't matter. What counts is the horse can run,
In the case of a Trojan infiltration, the purpose is to spread to the Central Nervous System. Once it reaches there, the intention is to create chaos among the ranks.
Most importantly, in executing this maneuver, the subject must already be divided in their opinions regarding the purpose of the Trojan Horse. Thus a White Horse can be switched into a Black Horse and turns tranquility into chaos.
Do note that a Trojan Horse Horse is to destabilize a tranquil state. A Trojan Horse is worthless in a situation of fight or flight. A White Horse is to lull while a Black Horse is to create doubt. The effectiveness of a Trojan Horse is short-lived depending on its original intention. Although a White Trojan Horse is longer lasting than a Black Horse, both really complement one another.
Personally, I adopt a Trojan Zebra approach. That saves the trouble of converting the White Horse into a Black Horse. This approach is expedient in case I am required to alternate roles during an engagement. Do note that a Zebra is very glaring unless we camouflage it as a donkey.
Bla bla bla... Yada yada yada... May we all rest in peace.
